Welcome to our
Community of Change
We are so glad you are here today. Whether you heard of us from a family member or friend or if the Lord prompted you to seek a local church, we extend to you a warm loving Shalom and pray God’s peace and love over you. New Hope Community Church has been part of the Sunland-Tujunga community for over 100 years. We are a Christ centered church committed to fulfilling God’s mission in our community. Join us on Sunday mornings and discover authentic people, relevant messages, music that will lift you up, and a special time for children and youth. We invite you to journey with us as we follow Christ together!
Our worship services are every Sunday at 10:30 am, starting with fellowship time at 10:00 am.
You can also join us remotely through our Facebook live stream. No Facebook account required.
Our Vision
We believe God has called us as a community of believers to be a place that shares God’s new hope with the Sunland-Tujunga community. This includes new hope for healing in our lives, our families, our schools, our local communities and beyond.
Thus, our vision is: To be a ministry of ongoing transformation, in our community and in the world.
We strive to be a place where anyone can come as they are to foster faith and friendships. We invite anyone who wants to investigate the claims of Jesus or who wants to know and serve Him better to join us for worship, bible study, and fellowship.
Events
Feb 04, 2025, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PMJoin the JOY (Just Older Youth) senior group's monthly excursion. We will be visiting the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to see the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit. Admission is $26.95 for seniors. We will be carpooling and leaving from the New Hope Community Church parking lot.
Feb 06, 2025, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM PSTUnleash your creativity, meet fellow writers and take your writing to the next level at our Writers Club night. Led by local authors, Michael Farrant and Douglas Feay, this writers workshop will help those looking to develop writing skills and connect you with other creative individuals.

Making It Happen, Inc.
Making It Happen is a Sunland-Tujunga based non-profit that serves individuals and families, providing food & groceries, clothing, access to temporary and permanent housing solutions, and access to medical services.
Hoving Home
Hoving Home is committed to helping women heal and rebuild their shattered lives through drug rehabilitation counseling, housing, and sharing the gospel.
Grief Share
Grief Share meetings are a place to meet others who understand, receive comfort and support, hear insights from recovery experts and learn practical tips for navigating your grief. NHCC hosts Grief Share meetings throughout the year.
